Shipping Policy

This policy explains how and when we deliver your order, what it costs, and what to do if something goes wrong. Delivery forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Where we ship

We currently ship across UK mainland. We may be able to deliver to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or internationally on request — contact us at contact@havennestshop.com before ordering and we will confirm whether it is possible and quote any cost.

2. Order processing and dispatch

In-stock orders are prepared and dispatched within 48 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Orders placed over a weekend or holiday are processed on the next working day. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking when your order leaves us.

3. Delivery times and service

Once dispatched, most UK mainland parcels arrive within 2 to 5 working days on a tracked service. Larger pieces are sent on a dedicated furniture courier; for these we will contact you to agree a delivery window that suits you. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and begin from the date of dispatch.

4. Delivery costs

UK mainland delivery is free at launch. Any surcharge for remote areas, or a quote for non-mainland and international delivery, will be shown clearly before you pay or confirmed by us in advance. You will never be charged a delivery cost you have not seen and agreed.

5. Tracking

We send tracking details by email as soon as your order is dispatched so you can follow it to your door.

6. Receiving your order

Please check your item on arrival. If the packaging or the item is visibly damaged, note it with the courier where you can and contact us within 48 hours so we can put it right. Keeping the original packaging helps us resolve any issue quickly.

7. Risk and ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

8. Missed or failed deliveries

Please make sure the delivery address and contact details you give us are complete and accurate, and that someone is available to receive larger items. If a delivery fails because the address was wrong or no one was available, any re-delivery or return costs may be passed on. The courier will normally leave a card or contact you to rearrange.

9. Delays

Couriers occasionally run late for reasons outside our control, such as weather or network disruption. If your order has not arrived within the expected window, contact us and we will chase it for you. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, but we will always help resolve them.

10. International orders

Where we agree to ship outside the UK, you may be responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country. These are not included in our prices and are payable by you.
