Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of havennestshop.com (the "site") and any order you place with MPNT, trading as HavenNest ("HavenNest", "we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully. By using the site or placing an order you confirm that you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About us and how to contact us

2. Definitions
"Goods" means the products we offer for sale; "Order" means your request to purchase Goods; "Contract" means the legally binding agreement between you and us for the sale of Goods.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to order from us.
4. How a contract is formed
When you place an Order you make an offer to buy the Goods. We will send you an order acknowledgement, but this does not mean your Order is accepted. A binding Contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an Order — for example if the Goods are unavailable, if we cannot authorise payment, if there has been a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud — and where you have already paid we will refund you in full.
5. Our products
We take care to describe and picture our Goods accurately. Because our pieces use natural materials and are finished by hand, slight variations in grain, tone and finish are normal and are not faults. Images are for illustration and on-screen colours may vary slightly from the real item. Dimensions are shown on each product page.
6. Price and VAT
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown separately before you pay. We try to ensure all prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of Goods you have ordered we will contact you before dispatch and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
7. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers using secure, industry-standard methods. You confirm that the payment details you provide are valid and that you are authorised to use them.
8. Availability
Stock availability is shown on each product page. Where Goods are in stock we aim to dispatch within 48 hours (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays), as set out in our Shipping Policy.
9. Delivery, risk and title
Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the Goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership of the Goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
10. Cancellation and returns
If you are a consumer you have a legal right to cancel and return Goods, in addition to the enhanced returns we offer. Full details, including how to start a return and how refunds work, are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
11. Warranty
Every piece carries a 2-year warranty covering the drawer runners, casters, frame and hardware against defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, alterations, commercial use or normal wear and tear. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, introduce harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the site, or use it for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
13. Intellectual property
All content on the site — including text, photography, graphics, logos and design — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our written permission.
14. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any breach of your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, that arise from your own breach of these Terms, or that relate to business use of the Goods (we supply to consumers for domestic use only).
16. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, strikes, carrier failures or supply disruption. If such an event occurs we will contact you and take reasonable steps to limit its effect.
17. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something is wrong, please contact us first at contact@havennestshop.com and we will try to resolve it quickly. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. This does not affect your right to bring legal proceedings.
18. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights and obligations under the Contract to another organisation, which will not affect your rights. These Terms are the entire agreement between us regarding their subject matter.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your Order is the one in force when you place it. The date at the top shows the current version.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any Contract are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you continue to benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
